01

Technology Transfer Sales

Support for licensing with an optimal scenario for each IP

Approach numerous domestic and international companies to promote commercialization through business negotiations

Product Commercialization
of a Regenerative Medicine Tool

Developed from collaborative research to a licensing agreement, a joint research course, and the establishment of a spin-out venture, successfully leading to product commercialization.
Expanded from research use to clinical applications, and the product lineup was expanded and is now sold domestically and internationally.
Tech Manage provides ongoing follow-up after the contract, ensuring a significant amount of running royalty is secured every year.

Product Commercialization
of a Protein-Producing Cell

A material license agreement was concluded through sales activities. Subsequently, the product was commercialized as a diagnostic drug and is now sold domestically and internationally.
Tech Manage continues to follow up after the contract, securing a stable running royalty every year.

Licensing to and Overseas
Animal Drug Company

Domestic and international companies were explored, leading to a license agreement with a major overseas animal pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Tech Manage continues to follow up in collaboration with the industry-academia collaboration department and researchers, and product development is currently underway, led by the company.

02

Early-stage development
and startup support

Identify optimal partner companies for early-stage seeds and improve their maturity.

Partnering at every stage, from material manufacturers and user companies, to VCs (Venture Capital), and licensees.

Building a Scheme for High Nutritional Value Food Commercialization

Tech Manage's sales activities first led to the search for a prototype manufacturer for food cultivation, followed by the establishment of a joint research agreement with a major user company.
Currently, they are searching for a mass production manufacturer, anticipating a significant market acquisition through full-scale commercialization in the future.

Project Support for Low-Carbon Technology

A scheme was built to launch multiple projects for each application, based on the process equipment held by the university, aiming for parallel commercialization.
Under the common goal of realizing a low-carbon society, the framework for mutual use of IP and information handling was systematized, and the potentially complex rules are being organized and progressed.

SU Establishment Support and Follow-up for Antibody Drugs

Supported the establishment of a startup in collaboration with a VC through Tech Manage's unique network. A scheme incorporating a license agreement and stock options was designed and concluded.
Furthermore, they are continuously providing support for exploring collaborative partners for the startup and IP-related assistance to help the company's business flourish.

03

Discovery of Pre-Invention Results
& Search for Collaborative Research Partners

Discover promising research in the university even before invention and search for collaborative research partners.

Support for acquiring research funds and grants in collaboration with corporate needs.

Laboratory Promotion Aimed
at Collaborative Research

Seed discovery was conducted at the research organization unit within the university, and a group of seeds, such as those from a laboratory possessing unique plant analysis technology, were widely introduced to companies.
As a result, a car manufacturer showed interest in a new business in the agricultural sector, leading to the setting up of interviews between companies and researchers, and the realization of multiple joint research agreements.

Search for Cooperative Partners Aimed at Commercialization of Joint Application Technology

For a jointly filed technology between a university and a company regarding NOx countermeasures, Tech Manage widely searched for cooperative partners as the company seriously embarked on it as a new business.
They approached about 200 companies, including material manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, plant companies, and user companies, resulting in interviews with about 10 companies.
They collected realistic and concrete information not available on paper and built cooperative relationships with multiple companies.
